This rare first release British quad film poster from 1956 for "Indestructible Man" features an impressive 'X' certificate with pictures of Lon Chaney Jr. transformed into Frankenstein by a 300,000 volt electric shock. In the true spirit of the 1950's 'B' movies then becomes indestructible and a force to be reckoned with as he prevents the crooked lawyer played by Ross Elliot from using the LA sewer system as a storage haven for plundered loot. This 1956 film poster has survived with fantastic colour and no fading for what was of course a film released in black and white. There have been areas of tippex applied in small areas on the bottom, top and left border with a larger tippex area along the whole edge at the right side. This is a rare film poster which we have not been able to find an image for to date on the internet. The corner tip at the top left has been replaced and there are two thin strips of sellotape on the reverse with closed tears. There is a date written on reverse in pencil "Tuesday 3 - 6 - 58" together with the title and a blue circled '50' twice none of which shows through to the front.
